Using The Manager 1-on-1 Report

The Manager 1-on-1 report is a data-driven report that empowers managers to coach their sales members using month-to-date activity summarizing email, phone and meeting activity as well as Salesforce opportunity contributions. This email report is a feature for customers on the Yesware Prescriptive Analytics plan.

Report details

The stats in these reports are detailed below:

  • Emails sent – the total count of emails sent by this team member since the beginning of this month, as recorded by Yesware.
  • Calls made – the total count of all calls made by this team member since the beginning of this month (even if calls were not made using Yesware). Specifically, calls are identified as: closed tasks in Salesforce created by this team member, with an Activity Date of this month, where the task Type is “Call” or the Subject starts with “Call”.
  • Meetings booked – the total count of all meetings booked by this team member since the beginning of this month (even if meetings were not scheduled using Yesware).  Specifically, meetings are identified as: Events in Salesforce created by this team member, with a Created Date of this month, where the Contact or Lead has an email address in a different domain than the team member.
  • Opportunities created – the total count of all opportunities created this month that had meaningful activity by this team member in the past.  This stat is gathered through a series of queries:  Yesware first finds all Opportunities with a Creation Date of this month (regardless of who owned or created the opportunity).  Then, for each of these opportunities, Yesware examines the Activity History of that Opportunity, Account, or Account Contacts for a meeting booked by this team member at any point in the past.  If there’s a matching Event in the past, this Opportunity is counted towards this stat for this team member.
  • Opportunities closed-won – the total count of all opportunities closed-won this month that had meaningful activity by this team member in the past.  This stat is gathered through a series of queries:  Yesware first finds all Opportunities with a Close Date of this month (regardless of who owned or created the opportunity).  Then, for each of these opportunities, Yesware examines the Activity History of that Opportunity, Account, or Account Contacts for a meeting booked by this team member at any point in the past.  If there’s a matching Event in the past, this Opportunity is counted towards this stat for this team member.

Customizing these reports

By default, these reports will use the queries described above and will show a default monthly goal for each stat.  If you’d like to customize the queries used for your reports, or if you’d like to modify the default goals for your team, please submit a request through our Help Center.

Receiving more or fewer reports

All team leaders of teams with more than 20 members will receive a sampling of emails for their team members.  If you’d like to receive these reports for all of your teams and team members, please contact us.  If you’d like to stop receiving these emails, visit your Account Preferences page and uncheck the “Receive periodic email reports and notifications” checkbox.
