Yesware joins the Cloud Alliance for Google Apps
The Cloud Alliance announced this morning that Yesware and four other companies will be joining its prestigious roster. We are brought in with new members AwayFind, Harvest, Lucidchart and ShuttleCloud which are among some of the most popular and heavily installed applications in the Google Apps Marketplace. They based their decision on user reviews, depth of integration with Google Apps, and Marketplace position.
The Alliance, an independent network of cloud software developers building applications integrated with Google Apps, strives to educate Google Apps administrators and end-users alike. Through monthly webinars and industry-wide reports, the Alliance and its member companies promote awareness of the Google Apps Marketplace, share best practices for operating within the ecosystem and serve as thought leaders in the emerging space.
We will join BetterCloud, Expensify, Insightly, Okta, RunMyProcess, Smartsheet and Spanning Backup, who came together just over six months ago to found the consortium. As the Google Apps ecosystem continues to expand and mature, the Alliance will look to add new strategic partners and vendors and continue to produce compelling industry-related content similar to the group’s 1st Annual Benchmark Report for Google Apps.
What does this mean for Yesware?
Being included in this alliance gives us a unique position as market leaders in our space. As businesses continue to grow and use Google Apps they increasingly have more options to choose from to streamline their business processes. This alliance will serve to help guide those decision-makers so they are confident that these applications are the best in the space to fill their needs.
